Bishop Darrell McFadden Sr.

Darrell McFadden Sr. came to the Lord as a bold young soldier in the early years of his life. He used his anointed and gifted voice to spread the word of the Lord.

Darrell McFadden Sr. was called to preach the gospel in August of 1994. He received his license to preach on August 24, 1994 from the late Apostle D. Johnson of the House of Faith Church of Holiness in Brooklyn, New York. After preaching his initial sermon, “You Can’t Touch This” he continued his singing ministry with his group known as The Disciples. During his journey with his singing ministry, God place upon Minster McFadden’s heart to start the D.M. Crusade Outreach Ministry, which aided and blessed the sick, needy, and shut-in.

As God continued to take him to the next level, he was ordained to Reverend Darrell McFadden by Mount Peace Missionary Baptist Association and received his Certificate of Ordination to the gospel ministry on January 26, 1997, by Dr. Ellazor Campbell, PhD. Many are called but few are chosen. Rev. McFadden shortly after was chosen by God to be ordained as Bishop Darrell McFadden Sr.

As time progressed, God blessed Bishop McFadden to start his very own Ministry and Galilean Deliverance Temple was formed. Our initial service was held in the living room of Mother Beatrice Bartley on December 31, 1997 with seven members. The church motto was born Galilean Deliverance Temple “THE CHURCH WHERE DELIVERANCE IS IN THE AIR”. Under the leadership of Bishop McFadden through his vision the following ministries have blossomed: Praise Dancers Ministry, Galilean Youth Empowerment Group, GDT Café, Outreach Evangelizing and Nursing Home Ministries. Through the years, he has blessed many souls and touched many hearts from his singing, preaching and teaching ministries. Many souls have come to Christ through the message God has anointed Bishop McFadden to spread.

Although Bishop travels spreading the Gospel, his Ministry starts at home. He is a loving Husband to his wife of 18 years, First Lady Lisa McFadden. From this union, God has blessed them with four children; Sherell, Darrell Jr., Tyrell and Nyjarelle. He is a Leader, Preacher, Teacher, Father, Husband, Brother and Friend but most of all a true man of God that stands firmly and boldly on the Word.
